Today we celebrate 50 years of the AGA and the very first Group of Seven Day! Join the Art Gallery of Algoma from noon to 9 pm for art activities and celebration!

This year, the province is officially recognizing July 7 as Group of Seven Day.
This year also marks the 50th anniversary of the Art Gallery of Algoma (AGA), which is home to original works by members of the Group of Seven and plays a vital role in preserving and showcasing their legacy.
Over the past five decades, the AGA has connected thousands of visitors to the landscapes that inspired these iconic artists, helping keep their story alive.
“This shared celebration is incredibly meaningful,” said Jasmina Jovanovic, Executive Director of the Art Gallery of Algoma in a news release.
